Every journey starts with a first step and the same holds true in creating ceramics. Each piece has a certain sequence of steps required to bring the final project to the end of it's journey. This piece is in the third step of its creative journey, the step of adding glazes. Although the glaze colors appear fairly colorful, they will mysteriously darken and intensify in the kiln firing step.
